LOL. i didnt think about that //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

kinda smart way for a mount //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

just wedge it into the cup holders //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

HAHAHAH!

why not i did it to my truck blow thru, rims, dropped, tribal flame paint job, shaved then i just bought it out at the end of the lease lol i didn't have a choice i had too much cash into it to let it go back for what i owed

ok here are some pics of it body filled. its getting covered in vinyl, not painted, so i didnt over obsess with the sanding. tomorrow i will vinyl it, which should be kinda hard. the pictures may not show it, but i manipulated the shape of the alot with the bondo. tell me what you guys think.

that just dont make sense to me u can spend the money that u put into ur stereo on a car and then own it and put the system in later. when u lease a car u have nothing to show for it when ur lease is up if u dont buy it. but if u own a car u have something to show for it

uhhh.....what? its not a big deal. i could put all the shit i have now into another car no problem. i have the car for another year, and am fine with doing some custom fibe work for it. but anyways back to the project, what do you guys think?

definitaly a great job... good thinking witht the molding of the cup holders. This way you won't damage the lease car and then have to pay for that when you hand it back in. Now have you thought about how you going to run the wires and hide them?

Looks great so far, you may want to sand down a little more though because vinyl doesn't hide imperfections like carpet does...so maybe just a little more elbow grease into the sanding to ensure a great layer of vinyl.

Looks very clean either way though, i like it //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

to run the wires, i will drill a hole in the back of the mount, then run the wires under and into the center console where my PS2 will be. I'll split the video RCA from the audios, plug the video into the monitor, connect the monitor to my H/Us remote wire, and plug the audios in the H/Us auxilary inputs.

i will take your guys's advice and sand a little more. when i think about it, with such a shaped object the vinyl will be vulnerable to air bubbles, so i should sand it as smooth as possible.

its all vinyled up now. i've ran all the wires, just so when i get the monitor on tuesday, i can plug it right in. I also need to wait for my PS2 from Aznrevlazn. Oh yeah, one problem. When i took out my head unit on my durango (which is the hardest car to get a h/u out), i could've sworn the Alpine 9827 had auxilary RCA inputs, but they don't. However, there's an aux. select option on my H/U. What do i do about this? i heard something about using the CD changer input, but i'm not sure.
