Fiberglass Mount for TV Work Log

how do you like your power acoustic monitor monte carlo, and how much did it cost you?
I love it. It has awesome resolution and a very clear picture. The price that i paid i cannot tell since i got it at dealer cost beacuse i am an authorized Power Acoustik Dealer. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/cool.gif.3bcaf8f141236c00f8044d07150e34f7.gif

I got the PT713HRS monitor

but here som pics of what i did. http://www.caraudio.com/vb/showthread.php?t=86255 Beware there are a few flaws but i have since fixed them. For instance the carpet in the port, neons, wires hanging.

Looks good but before you go any further get the tv. I did something similar in my car and didn't check the viewing angle of the screen so it was really hard to see after I had already glassed it. 7" screens in your price range kind of ****. The one I had was like $175 and had a really bad picture which was made even worse by the angle I had it at. It also had some lines running through it that I couldn't get to go away.

I would have to disagree with you. Cause the screen i got was in that price range and it turned out awesome. Great viewing angle also.

ok. yesterday i did ~2-3 layers of fiberglass, and got the final shape. today, i will bondo, and tomorrow, i will vinyl. i did this at work, and because i was on the clock, i had to do it ultra fast, so i used bigger pieces of glass than i should've. that is why you will see some air bubbles. the major ones, i just sanded off, and kitty haired them (even though that probably wasnt necessary. hopefully it will all get installed in the next 1-2 weeks. AznRevlazn is modding my slim PS2, so whenever he finishes. tell me what you think.
