well. im sorry but i cant help you with this one, im not sure how to fiberglass door panels as well, and i would sure like to know.

is there anyone out there who HAS fiberglassed a whole door panel and can give us some insight on how this is done?

Huh ? I don't understand "so what do i type my door panles to make a mold " . As far as glasssing the door panels, It really depends upon what you want to do. If you want to keep the same style Of door panels and just want to do some modding, plastic filler is the way to go. It will stick to the plastic and you can mold your mods into your present door panels. If you want to get really wild, and create your own door panels from scratch. I usually use the originals for a size template. Get the size cut out make sure it fits to the door. well first you take your door panel, lay out what you want to do with it make some rings out of MDF to support your speakers, mount the rings to the door panel, stretch some sort of fabric that will retain resin over you door panel and make whatever design you want, soak the fabric in fiberglass resin, I like to do three coats, let it dry, bondo the hell out of it, sand, sand, sand, sand, bondo, sand sand , bondo sand, sand, sand, then stretch vinyl over the whole thing

well that all sounds good but one of my friends said to tape the hell out of my door then resin tiger hair resin tiger hair and so on for like 2 layers then sand sand sand hes a smart guy but i dont know if its rigths so how about that(ohh yea im makeing a mold not a cover )
