fi vs. mojo's

im upgrading my subs again lol

i went from 2 mojo 15's

to 6 type r 12's

now im thinking of 2 15 fi's

im just curious how do they compare to my old mojo's

ive never been able to hear any fi's in person cause idk anyone in st. louis with them

uh... there arent many pairs of 15s that will keep up with 6 12s. are you running all 6 with that 1500 watt amp?

i would think going from the 6 type r 12's to 2 15" fi's is a downgrade. haha...i have nooo idea what kind of power you were running or what kind of box you had them in but if you you have the power and space those things would be way louder than the 15's

what kind of wiring you have? a high output alt? extra batteries? like he said up there ^^^ those 15's will not outplay those 6 12's...

how many runs of 0 gauge? for a system pushing that many watts rms and haveing 2 extra batteries in the back you would need AT LEAST 2 runs of power to the back batteries... Im 100% sure the 12's would be louder than the 2 15's.... 4 15's would probably be ok. the 12's will have 678 sq in of surface area and the 4 15's have 706 sq in... so if you get 15's get 4 good ones .other wise keep the 12's and build a better box than the one you have.. if at all possible. do a subs up port back and do aeroports.. or just build a real wall with more port area than the ones you got now.

im pretty sure all my eletrical is up to par

as i can idle full blast w/o dropping enough to notice

im not big on building a wall either

and that is the second box ive ever personally built

built it all to spec with what alpine says

then after i built it i learned there r better ways to build it

but atm im burping at what i would like music to play at lol

most i plan on having is around 4k to 5krms

edit- anymore then that i might have to upgrade my electric system again

your not going to come close to mid 50's on that power ,,sorry assuming 55 is what you ment. with a well built wall yes but i would be shocked if you could do it on 4-5k
