k. well if your electrical is good then thats great... but i can tell you by looking at that pic those ports are tiny for one.. im not sure how many cubes you have per sub but im guessing the recommendation said somthing way too small. lol. before you spend the money i would buy some wood, build a subs up ports back box tuned to 36 hertz. use either aeroports or a slot port with about 200 sq inches of port.

you can get piss loud with 6 type r 12s. i'd look into building a new box and at least doubling your power. you only have 5-600 watts on each sub... they'll take 1-1.5k each no problem.

you would be better off giving those 12's the port area they desire. looks like you don't have near enough port area for them

yes ! lol. thats why i have been telling you to do it if you have the space... you will need a box roughly 12 cubes after displacement with a big *** port faceing back. or some 6" aero ports(which i recommend) ... the whole placement of the subs makes a huge difference... if it were louder with the subs faceing back all the time no one would build subs up port back or walls.... honestly . give the new box a try. but 1. make it big enough. 2. give it the port area it needs and 3. make it a strong box.
