Fi vs. DC vs. AudioQue

This is my first setup and I'm looking for a relatively loud sub, but still want sq. I know I can't have both, so I'm going to say I want loudness over sq (also the system's going into a Jeep gc). $250 TOPS for the sub, same for the amp. I already have a kenwood deck.

That being said, I'm stuck between a Fi SSD12, a level 3 DC or a HDC3 12 audioque. Also I'd like to wire them down to 1 ohm (except the DC, I know that can't happen with one sub) for shits n giggles, so 2 ohm dvc for any suggestions. Oh also what about an alpine type r?

Ps: Can a stock electrical system handle 1000w rms? Average battery, stock alt. I'm probably going to run 4 gauge for the amp.

If i were you i would go with the fi ssd... great sub. And for your stock electrical i would recommend using 1/0 and having an upgraded battery in the back...

Thanks man fi was what i was kinda leaning towards, and i'd save about $50. Also i'll probably do the big 3 after everythings installed and i get enough money haha

Ive owned HDC3s and DC lvl 3 18s. Depends on what amp you choose IMO.

lvl 3s sound great but the HDC3s can take ALOT of power but don't sound AS good to me.

1000RMS I would do the DC

Over 1000 SSD

1500+ HDC3

Im in the same boat. Ive run both the level 3 and the hdc3 and this is spot on. The aq needs the power to really preform. but the DC sounds better and will get lower easier and play more musical than the aq. I enjoyed both subs though

Thanks everyone. DC just quoted me 265 shipped for the lvl3, so I think I'm gonna have to go with fi for this time around. I dont really wanna give up the space for the aq since most people say that they sound the best in a 3 cube box.

Another thing, the aq q1-1200d is the amp im looking at to power the sub and on their website they list that at 1 ohm it gets about 1500w. Does anyone know if it's rms or peak?

I'm running an AQ HDC312 with an AQ 2200.1D. Box is about 2.6 net tuned to 35hz. Sounds great and I haven't even done big 3 and I'm on stock battery. My rear bump is quite loose on a 1 year old car. I love my audioque //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif. I got the 2200 used for $300 on Craigslist locally.

This guy is selling one locally in Louisiana near me for $250.
