its just the sound of 12's can be heard alot better down the road.

That's probably the absolute DUMBEST reason for wanting a sub. Do you plan to park your car and walk down the road to listen to it? I know personally I want mine as loud as possible inside the car but I guess the new trend is listening to your system from a mile away lol...

And as stated sub size mean's absolutely nothing. There are people on here with 8's that will play louder and lower then most people's 15's or 18's. It's all in the enclosure. Maybe if you would deaden your truck to keep the sound INSIDE then you wouldn't be wanting to upgrade

Im the same, I care bout what it sound like with ME and no one else...

I could care less what it sounds like to the guy 2 blocks away...

Mine sounds good with me, and 3 blocks down. So, im good

Dont ever try to make the outside be happy, or try to impress them. What good is it if it sounds like shit inside ur ride?

is your truck extended cab or single cab or 4 door?? what

cause good sound from under the back seat isnt to easy.

pull the seats and youll have WAYYYY more options and a ton more mounting room

why some peoples says that the BL is louder than SX?? any proof for that??

specs on BL and SX's are about the same. But i think it depends on how much power you going to be giving them. The BL's with BP option can handle I think about 1500rms. I i would not give that much power to SX's. but some of the stuff u have to pay extra for on BL i think is standard on a SX. I think the SE, or SSD are a great options also wont be as loud as SX or BL, but in you truck should bump very nicely and the cash u would save on a more powerful amp, and on subs u can put into other areas of your system.

the SX can handle 2000rms of power... i like it whei it plays on my van! sweet....
