i have a DD 9518 and the voice coil spider came unglued from the basket. does anyone know what kind of glue or rubber cement i should use to fix this.please help

CA glue. did DD do the recone? call them.

dd did do the re cone but i bought it from a guy that had them do it acouple years ago but it was never used since

that sux. I've not heard of a DD recone coming apart like that.

If there isn't any coil damage, get some regular old superglue if you don't have access to a hobby lobby. If you do, get thicker CA glue.

I'd angle the sub so it leans to the separated part to keep the glue from running into the gap and go for it.

alright thanks i called my local hobby shop and they have CA glue so im going to fix it today.now for breakin it in i was told i should play it at a very very low volume so that the cone is hardly moving for 6 hours. is that true?
