Fi subwoofers

i have been reading alot about fi subwoofers and they sound pretty impressive. i am not looking for a spl sub. more of a sq sub or combo.

i am looking at the q12 and the bl12 (which i know is new and noone has really heard it)

i am looking to see what they should compare to? JL w7? jbl gti? idmax?

also, what amp would you recomend for each? i get a decent price on Kicker stuff so i would be lookin at a zx1000 or somthing. that sound good?

to OP - any amp will do, just buy a sub w/ the voicecoil config you need. For example, if you get a kicker amp, get the d1, so you can wire it to 2 ohms.

I say just go with the Q for SQ with output.

They make the subs, I'm pretty sure theyre accurate lol.

Also, give your Q about 1200-1400 RMS of clean true power, and it should wang quite nicely, with plenty of SQ.

At least he found out they had forums lol

depends what you want, but id say take the q you'll wang and sound really good at the same time throw 1200rms at the q and it should really shine....you can go small ported or sealed it will sound good in both
