OT, the kicker ZX1000 would be a good choice in amps, but the Q can handle a little bit more if you decide to get something a little bit more powerful

x2..my zx1000 is rated at a little short of 1200rms and the thing wangs for being in a prefab 1.3 cubic foot sealed

kinda hoping it would compare to a w7, but to each his own.
so the majorty say go with a Q over the new BL with about 1200rms of clean power....and ported im assuming...

im giving mine probably 1100 watts of pure clean power in a 2.5 cu ft. @ 30hz box and it wangsssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss so hard........

Every kick pedal on the bass drum - to every low note u can think of on hypnotize

It crazy, i plan on maybe going with 2 12's in my trunk in a 4.8 @ 30 or 5.0 @ 28hz.

we'll see, that a long time from now.

nice nice... like the input... with all these good comments, it is hard to believe the video you saw sounded bad. my guess is the box and/or the amp...

and i know it will have more then double the power then i am running right now... so the 12q with a zx1000.1 should really be a lot cleaner and louder then the L5 with a 400.1 that i am running right now, right? and a set up i had before was 2 12" compvr's ported on a 600.1, how would the single 12q compare to that set up?

im pretty sure it should be a lot better then your 2 compvr's... i wanna hear a Q to see if the sq is better than my ssds. thinkin about gettin a new truck = 2 12 Q's pending on sound

look into getting a kx1200.1. birthsheet on my old one said 1380
