okay i have two kicker cvr 12s. im looking to upgrade to some more boom, i was wondering if a single fi would be better than my cvrs. it would be running off a crunch 1100.2

A 15 should take up less space than a pair of 12's...

when you say better are u asking if it will be louder? honestly if you want to get louder, with useing the same amp u have why not port the CVRs assuming they are sealed?

It'd take time and patience but you could cut rings of MDF and keep stacking and glueing them together untill you have the right length...and you could even flare it on both ends by slightly changing the diameter of the rings when you come to the ends and then rounding over+sanding them smooth...//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/cool.gif.3bcaf8f141236c00f8044d07150e34f7.gif..that'd be the way to do it //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif (that way you can do any diameter you need //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif )

(And as you glue every couple rings together you could sand the insides smooth or even get body filler and make the insides perfectly smooth, just a couple rings at a time so you could reach the part you were wanting to body-filler and sand //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/cool.gif.3bcaf8f141236c00f8044d07150e34f7.gif)

I guess try a 12" BL. There are plenty of BL's floating around for sale while they are out of stock.

i had 3 cvrs 12s in a ported box of off 1400 wrms.got alrite loud

I just upgraded to 1 15 ssd off of 1100wrms in a ported box and the ssd seems louder and def sounds better too

PVC is not the same thing as an aero port. Aero ports are flared at both ends which reduces turbulence and allows for less port area than a standard round port. 19in^2 of port without a flare is just not enough for those two 12s.
