FI Recone for a XXX

you could ask FI... but im not sure if they even have a website
I did, but I got an email back saying it will be a few days until they can respond because of problems.

My other question is, maybe its a Myth

Dual 1 coils are stronger than dual 2 coils because of the way they are wrapped?!?!?! anyone care to clear this up.

There's no reason a dual coil should be 'wrapped' differently than a svc's coil. Same amount of windings, same amount of copper/alum in the coil, same wire shape (flatwound etc), only real difference being the dvc was 4 ends of wire while the svc has 2 ends. T/S specs should have no discernable difference between svc and dvc. Otherwise manufacturers would list seperate t/s specs when selling diff coil configurations.

almost all Ts parameters change with coil changes. No, a dual 1 is not stronger than a dual 2. In order to keep the same winding width, the wire is thicker as the load goes down. (thicker wire=less resistance) however, with the smaller wire, there is more windings making power handling abilities near equal.

going from a SVC to a DVC or to a QVC changes so many parameters of a woofer. the coil is twice as thick, twice the electrical moving mass of the coil. these two things affect quite a bit.
