i plan on ordering two Fi Q subs very soon and was wondering what amp would be perfect to match these subs with?? also, for those with experience with these subs, what db level are you guys hitting? i know it varies from car to car and with different enclosures, etc. but i want to get an idea. thanks

I'd actually recommend around 2200-2400 for both subs total RMS. Not only does it give you head room, but also helps out their hunger for power //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

EDIT: btw, ignore my thread on the unsatisfying output from a Q. It's in my settings, and overall, these are **** ed good subs.

There's a guy on here selling an IA 20.1 for 500 + shipping I believe. Get that thing running at .5 ohms and that'd be a perfect match for these Qs. Get 2x Dual 2s.

Anybody have any amp reccomndations? I'm kind of new to this stuff and don't know about anything besides the mainstream stuff.. I was looking at a hifonics coloussus amp.. Would that be good?

get the q's at dual 1 ohm so u can wire both to a final .5 load.

id get a sundown 1500D since it warrentied to .5 ohms. it'll make 2000 @ .5 with good electrical
