Could I recone my standard Q with a BP cone that the recone isn't the only difference but I wanna know if the upgrade spiders could fit. I wanna run it closer to 1200 watts.

The BP power is in the motor, not the recone.

Maybe if you send it back to Fi they can add the BP option to your motor.

Provided its an 8" spider, it will fit. The BP power isnt in the recone, but in the motor IIRC. A Loaded Fi Q should take 1200w RMS all day, did you blow one?

yeah I blew my q

I'll put money on it being user error. I pushed 1500w+ RMS to a fi q and it just recently blew. The kids car its in ****ed with the amp after I told him not to.

Ive been running my Fi Q on 1500w rms for about two months now with no issues. It doesnt even have the BP option.

How much power have you pushed through a basic Q? How long do do you think mine will last?
