FI Q or BL

how would you guys compare the Q to the BL,

yea the Q has more SQ and the BL has more SPL,

but how much more SPL or how much more SQ.

i want to get a Q but i dont know if it'll give me enough on the lows or get loud with continuous play without any problems. such as vc damage.ive had subs that would give me the lows and get loud enough but i pushed them a lil to hard(very hard). whih would be better i prefer SQ but i want a sub that can take a beating any suggestions on either sub or other brands you have exp. with?

well if you prefer sq go with a q, thats what im doing. Id say the both should get equally low but dont listen to me because I have no experience with any subs.

I just got a Fi Q 12" and the quality is decent, but I think it could be better. In my opinion, the Type-R had better sound quality, but it lacked in getting the lows and getting loud, but the Fi Q gets low and loud just fine. I wouldnt get a BL if you like quality most of all over loudness.

i went from 2 q 15's to 2 bl 15's, everything remained constant except going from d1 coils to d2's. the q's were a tad louder, but they were getting 1200 a piece, and the bl's are only getting 1k. i have no doubt the bl's will own one i give them some real power.

if you have 1k for each do the q's, if you have 1.5k each, do bl's. i have no issues with their SQ.

yeah, same box... no options for the q's as far as i know, other than voice coils resistance. my bl's have full daily options.

Never heard a BL, but my HD owns the GF's Q in SPL and SQ is just as good if not better. Q is getting around 1200watts and the HD around 1750.

If you have the power might want to consider a HD315...

Im wondering the very exact smae thing. IM considering getting one BL 12 or 15 and giving it ONLY 700-1k watts.
