2 12 Fi BL Vs. 1 12 BTL

i just put one 12in bl in my GP and i want more bass....would it be better (cheaper) to

1. buy one more Bl and another amp and box (alternator, 2400)

2. sell bl and tantrum and my 12 btl and amp (alternator, 2400)

3.buy bl and sell sell tantrum and get another one and box (alternator, 2400)

also which one will have greatest effect?

open for any comments im just trying to get a idea of what some of you vetts think

bl ftw. are your subs 1 ohm voice coils? if so, i've got an amp that does 3kw @ 1 ohm for sale, american bass vfl 200.1. send me a pm if you're interested. i'm running 2 bl 15's but it's not enough because mine are 2 ohm voice coils and it only does 2kw @ 2 ohm.

Thats the thing that pops out in my head. You kind of piss away the utility and benefits of a sports sedan when you just fill up the cargo space and weigh it down. Not to mention that a BTL can get plenty loud. When you weigh the general losses and hassle. The small gain that you could theoretically get, doesn't really make much sense.

I would agree and say BTL, I am a really big fan of the single sub setup. Its always nice when people think you have more than what you really do.
