FI Q JLw6

Probably going with either the JL 10w6v2 or the 10" FI Q in a small sealed enclosure for my hatchback. Right now I am trying to determine the box size for each of these drivers.

I think I am supposed to add the volume of the woofer magnet and suspension to this volume. Is that right? Or is this included in the recommended volume by the manufacturer. Does anybody know what the estimated volume is for these drivers?

For example:

The FI q has a recommended enclosure of 0.2 to 0.6 c.f. So if I determine that I want a 0.5 c.f. enclosure and the FI Q speaker volume is .15 c.f. then I need a total volume of 0.65 ft3?

Also what Qts should I use? I read that 0.9 to 1.2 is a prefered range for sealed enclosures. I am looking for tight accurate bass and good sound quality. I dont listen to alot of rap but more rock.

Thanks

The reccomended box drawings on the JL website already take driver displacement into account, they even specify that. But yes, when calculating box size, you must copensate for driver displacement.
