i figured as most places rate it that way to make it look better. kinda low dont you think when compared with similar drivers?

By looking at one T/S parameter you cannot judge how a woofer will preform, or even compare it to other drivers...Paper is paper, and last time I checked paper didnt make noise.

dont you think i know this? i was just asking as bl has to do with motor strength, and its rating is low when compared to other subs in its price range.

but only looking at motor strenght and comparing a sub is like saying just because sub A has an Xmax or Xmech of 32 means it will get louder than sub B with an Xmax of 21. While an intricate part of a subwoofer Bl means nothing without other paramters...
