Perhaps they're not the same sub when you put the specs next to each other, but you will definitely get enough low-end thump and output from the Daytons. My single 10" ported @ 30Hz in my tC vibrates the whole car to the point where my rear view mirror isn't useful at all because it's moving so much. The 27mm xmax on the Q is impressive, I don't criticize it at all, but I don't think xmax defines a driver. For $160 for a 15" HO compared to $280 for the 15" Q, the Dayton will more than satisfy on a performance per dollar basis.
Give the 15" HO 2-2.5 ft^3 ported at 28-30Hz and it will definitely run with the Q, for much less might I add.
