Fi Q 10" what's comparable

Seems alot of people like the Fi subs. I was wondering if its truley worth the $250? What else compares to this sub? I' m lookingto push it with a 2200 watt Power acoustic amp with 1100 rms. Any suggestions or comments?
You have a crappy amp, asking if a true 1Kw SQ sub is truly worth $250? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

Sure there are comparable subs, but all will still be in that $200 + range.

Agreed. Dayton HO 10 or 12 or 15 if you'd like. All of them are WTF? Since when is 12mm Xmax comparable to 27mm?
Sure, the Daytons are great budget subs, and the HO's do very well ported... but they aren't quite comparable to the Q's. For sealed applications, Q > HO by a long ways.

I never liked my Q when I had it.

A good sub, or at least should be a good sub as it isn't out yet, but has had stellar reviews with the proto would be the new SI Mag 12 d2. 1000rms and will get loud off 400rms and will run 250 shipped when they are out, which should be soon.

Will be my next sub, hopefully. I only got 600 on my stimilus check, lol! I wanted 900 dammit!

What didn't you like about your Q?

Keep the suggestions coming guys!

Perhaps they're not the same sub when you put the specs next to each other, but you will definitely get enough low-end thump and output from the Daytons. My single 10" ported @ 30Hz in my tC vibrates the whole car to the point where my rear view mirror isn't useful at all because it's moving so much. The 27mm xmax on the Q is impressive, I don't criticize it at all, but I don't think xmax defines a driver. For $160 for a 15" HO compared to $280 for the 15" Q, the Dayton will more than satisfy on a performance per dollar basis.

Give the 15" HO 2-2.5 ft^3 ported at 28-30Hz and it will definitely run with the Q, for much less might I add.

I definitely won't argue that the Dayton Reference subs are incredible drivers for the money... I run a 12HF for an HT sub. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
And I realize that, when it comes to ported boxes, Xmax doesn't tell as much of the story as it does with sealed boxes. So yeah, HO ported vs. Q sealed might be a little closer fight.. but HO ported vs. BL ported is a total mismatch.

Not sure if it's on par with a Q, but Mach5Audio IXL 10's look to be monsters for $150. If I were looking for a 10" under $200, that would be my first option.

Great idea. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

So if I don't go with the Q:

That leaves me this:

-Dayton HO 10- I just can't find these anywhere. Every online store is out of stock.

Mach5Audio IXL 10's = can't find these anywhere either.
