well everytime i try to find how much pca's put out x1ohm i find a different answer, so you might be right.

Was to be my next purchase, but 1100 watts not really enough for the HD3, so instead of buying a new amp I bought a MAG, but I was this close to buying a Q

1100 is enough to power a HD. DJ told me personally 900w would bring it to full excursion. Doesn't mean more power isn't better.. but 900 REAL rms is enough. As in when the sub is actually seeing that much power which is not in general listening.

All of the forum boners besides Alpine Type-Rs are generic woofers with Logos painted one. Look at the baskets, and the magnet assemblies. They are all lego woofers- RE, FI and others just picked the basket, the magnets, the voicecoils, etc. out of a catalogue and called it their own. They even have similar specs- the slight differences from the different lego parts.

Its no doubt entertaining to come to this forum and read about them all the time. lol

Actually it does sound good. Ask anyone who has heard it.

It wont win any SQ/SPL contests, but it does a pretty good job with low power.
