i was under the impression the original alpha was an sq sub along the lines of a louder q, is the new one that much different?

ill let you know when i get the 12" to test, although i believe its MUCH closer to the BL than the BTL

I doubt it will a fair comparison for the BTL to be compared to a SQL sub other than the price. There has been a big debate on ROE about this. Everyone will said the BTL **** musically which is not true (unless you get the SPL version of it).

I'll go with the BTL because it doesn't sound like cow fart for a SPL sub and also has a lot of potential to get really loud for a single 18". 170.2Db for a single 18" is no joke.

that was in a straight burp box with almost perfect circumstances dont expect even a 155 let alone a 150 daily with one 18 unless you have a hell of a skillset
