Ok, so I'm under the impression that a 12 inch sub with the proper box space will outperform a 15 if its in too small of an enclosure. That said, I'm trying to decide between two 12 inch BL's or two 15 inch BL's.
Ok on FI's website, it states the following:
BL12 Ported box: 1.8-2.5 cuft @ 30-37Hz
BL15 Ported box: 2.8-4 cuft @ 30-37Hz
So, which is the optimum space for these subs? They give a range of cuft? More the better? Should I be aiming for 4cuft per 15? or would 2.8 work?
This will really make my decision about which subs to run. I'm going to be walling them into where my backseat was, with the entire trunk space as the enclosure. (all sealed off of course). So if I can get 8 cuft out of my trunk, go for the 15's?
Blah, any input would be cool guys.
