Most people here take a OEM style aftermarket headlamp assembly and flush mount them in the lower part of their bumper. Then they have headlamp covers paint-matched to the truck to block the original lights and disconnect them.

So next time they try to pull you over for your headlights being too high. Switch them over to the lower ones.. As they will be behind you. And say you were using the low ones. Problem solved.

ya im just going to put some lights under and then just always use those as headlights

The law here is the BOTTOM of your headlights cant be more than 6 feet off the ground.

is that sarcasm? a cop pulled me over for tint and told me it was 50% all the way around. i argued with him that only my front two windows were illegal and i would take the blame for those, but he isnt gonna sit there and tell me all of them are. he let me go because i told him id call another officer there right now who actually knows how to do his job if thats what it took. there are cops that dont know the laws themselfs.

In a word yes you can be pulled over for not having your lights adjusted right OR having them to bright.

not a fan of lifted trucks, some people lift WAY TOO HIGH and do blind people. Not sure about yours but doesn't look like it could be adjusted not to blind people. I have a weird sun allergy that allows me to have a medical exemption from Louisiana's window tint law. Years ago, I was pulled over for having a fully tinted windshield, and written a ticket for the exact statute that I had an exemption from. The cop argued with me and said that exemption from the statute DID NOT cover a tinted windshield. We went round and round, then I just broke down and said said "Write me the ticket!" All it took was one phone call to the DA and one fax of my exemption form to get the ticket dropped. No court costs, nothing else required.

The last time I saw that former officer, he was working for Pop-A-Lock and unlocking a friend's car. Apparently, he had numerous complaints against him for his erroneous interpretation of the laws he was paid to enforce and was terminated as a result of it.
