Didnt kno there was a rule on head lights..

but i got pulled over cuz my truck was "too high"?

didnt kno they had a rule on that. I thought there was a rule on tire size which was 49 inches and NO more..he said it was wrong

Saw the 2 cops with lights flashing pulled over in a parking lot just talking to eachother. saw they look at me and my truck, I see the cop head lights behind me, i told my gf..watch these asssoles pull me over...

and what do u kno they pulled me over.. 2 black officers .1 male one female.. i think they were profiling me.. Said i was sitting at 61 inch at middle of headlight and the law was 54?

i cant find this in the handbook or the florida statures..

can someone help?

I just got a ticket for failure to show license, he let me go after he kept sayin hes gonna ticket me.

on his ticket it says 101.00 to pay..but up top it says 10.00..?

yeah theres a law like that in texas

your headlights have be be a certain height

i think your bumper does also

well since my truck is over 5000 the bumper law does not apply... only the headlight law..

If your truck's net weight is less than 2,000 pounds, the max bumper height is 24 inches front and 26 inches rear. If it's more than 2,000 but less than 3,000, it's 27 front and 29 rear. And if it hits the scales between 3,000 and 5,000 pounds, it's 28 and 30 inches. More info.

as far as i could find, thats all florida has for lift laws

I am not aware of this law either. I live in Miami and i see a lot of lifted trucks that Im sure are higher than 54.

Better check the FL DMV website or give them a call to know the law about it.

im over 5000 lbs..the BUMPER LAW does not affect me! lol

Yea, a set of hellas would look cool, maybe get a nice brush bar and mount them in the lower part of it. You can buy brush bars with lights already mounted, i have one for my car but havent installed it.

Scan a copy of your ID and send it in with your ticket and if it was issued before the date of the ticket it is $10. If not, 101
