Been working on this while I should be studyin for finals/writin papers. I like fiberglassin better, this is my first project so check it out - comment, critique.. and just dont mind the pictures.. I dropped my nice camera like 2 weeks back and now most pictures come out blurry.

bought backup door panels in case i messed up.. then jigsawed a section out of the panel



gave it shape with mad chopsticks.. they started makin me do like 1 eggroll for 3 pairs because I kept comin back.





wrapped it with a t-shirt.. wasn't too happy about the tweeter area, wrinkles etc.



my glassing job wasnt amazing.. didnt even take pictures.. heres some bondo tho



in the doors.. still plenty of bondo-ing to do because theres a lot of gaps





so right now i've got more bondo to do and then I guess prime them and spray paint them.. any tips or suggestions for the rookie?

looks good man. makes me want to start working on mine. how much resin would you say you used. also what are you bout to put in them.

CDT CL-61 components..

I'm tryin to think of the regular size tub of resin that home depot sells.. it must be about 64oz. in any case I only used about 5oz I'd say.. really not that much

one mistake I made was on the first pod I glassed.. I made the mistake of not soaking it in resin first. your better off letting the shirt soak up a complete layer of resin and letting it dry before going onto another layer. It made things a little more messier.. had to spend more time sanding it down
