Hey fellow forum members, today im installing a system in my girlfriends car. She wants to keep stock hu so I was forced to get a hi-lo converter. I have never had to use one of these and I dont have directions so I dont know how to hook it all up. Sorry if you cant understand what im trying to say I will be as clear as possible. Their is a slider on the side with the option of "Common Ground" "Factory Amp" and "Line Out" which one of these 3 selections do I set it to? My next question has to do with which terminals I hook the + and - wires from the stock 6x9's. On the top of the converter it says input, and on the bottom it says output. Top has A1 A2 A3 A4 all the way up to A8 and the bottom has the same lettering but with B's instead of A. Beneath each "PAIR" (A1 A2) or terminals their are gain dials, The top says "line out gain adjustment", beneath the 4 gain dials for 8 terminals. I presume is the correct receptical side for the wires as it is input, but im not sure. The bottom is labled factory amp gain adjustment with the same 4 gain dials. Im pretty sure I use the TOP "input" terminals for the wires, but which of the 8 terminals do I plug the wires into? the first 4? +a1 -a2 +a3 -a4? this is how I presume its suppose to be hooked up to get the signal to my rca's? Please tell me if I have presumed correctly. Now for where I hook up the rca's. Under the output section I use right front and left front right? not left rear and right rear? And also which color goes in which side, red for right? My last question has to do with the remote wire. Their is a black wire comming out of the side, which i presume is the remote. I know that im suppose to wire to the ignition somehow but im not sure where to tap into the wire. Do I need to take the steering collum off to find the wire that goes to the ignition? Is their a color coding to help the process along? Im just not sure where to tap into the key. Thanks for all your help in advance. Please reply quickly as the install is scheduled for no more than hour. THANKS!!!!!

Come on guys I dont mean to beg but im SURE someone can help me out. I have to leave now and I wont be able to finish today, if someone would please waste their breath on these easy questions that they feel are NOOBx1000 I sure would appreciate it.
