My Silverado will go all the way to 100, but no higher
GM did this because the one-piece drive-shafts aren't safe going much faster

My uncle got the governor taken off of his 2000's Silverado, and now it'll go up to 120. He's got a Camaro ZL1 engine in it though..

I don't know if it still has the factory drive-shaft, and may be geared differently

Same uncle that fixed my truck for me. He used to do auto-salvage. Now he's a railway mechanic

He should be able to go quite a bit faster than 120 lol. My exes dad had a z06 and a zl1. That zl1 was a blast to drive. Never let me drive the vette though.

Last time I talked to him, that's the fastest he's ever gotten it up to.

Like I said, I don't know what it's geared to. Could be really low

no doubt it can go past 120, ive been to 110 in my 00 v8 5.3 lol no way in hell ill do anything past that though especially with 35s and more lift now. you can cruise at 100 at about 2500 so there's definitely some power left.

and dodge is gross, can your ****** last a trip to 120? haha im just talking **** my buddy has a dodge (has ****** problems lol)

Does yours not have a governor? Yeah, it's at about 2.5k rpm doing 100. I've just got 33's

Also, update on the girl situation. She came over today, but all we did was make out, then we talked for a little while.

She's just really confused right now. She doesn't know if she wants to be with me or the guy she was dating. She likes me a lot and is attracted to me, but she can't decide between us :/
