I have a silver great condition US Amps USA-442 that I am willing to get rid of. This is a 4 channel amp rated at 45x4 at 4 ohm. This amp is very underated and prolly does atleast double that. I will sell or trade the amp for any reasonable offer. Thanks!!

the 442...how does it compare to the 425??..less watts..crossovers..gains??

more watts, double. more crossovers, it has 16 dip switches on the bottom to control crossover. It is the 425's big brother!! If you like the 425 you will love the 442 it is just a better amp all the way around. Interested??

well..humm..i have a 425 now but..i need the crossovers and stuff...but the 442 is little too many watts for my speakers in doors 4 of them...i need 40w rms to each..i dont wanna go any higher than 40...with my 425 could i use the crossover on my HU??...442 sounds like a steal...i have all the pics of it on file..just wanna know why doesnt my amp 425 have crossovers...does it need to have them or just use HU's crossovers..i dunno

The 442 is a steal, and not too many people even know about it, it one of US Amps rarer amps. As far as power just watch your gains, to much power on hand is never a bad thing!! I guess you could always use the crossover on your HU but by getting this amp you could have the best of both worlds, crossover and power. LMK

ah i see...what is it fuse rating??...can i use 4 guage with it??

Fuse rating not sure, prolly about a 50A. Just double the 425 fuse. Yes you can use 4ga wire with it, I would suggest it.
