modding an amp is to lower the ohms? what are you talking about?? modding inables the amp to go to lower ohms without going in protect not make more powerfor example if you have one amp not modded on same ohm load as one thats moded they will be the same...

but don't you mod it so that you can go into those lower ohms? otherwise WHAT IS THE POINT? you haven't answered that. if you modded it to do nothing but get rid of the ability for the amp to go into protect, thats just lame.

and what do you think happens when going into these lower impedences? you ever wonder why amps are rated at higher wattages at lower impedences? i understand you didn't do the modding, but you aren't understand what everyone is saying. I originally asked the question to get an idea about power. i didn't mean to offend you, but you are answering with such authority and you don't seem to know what you are talking about. sorry. i'm probably not going to buy this anymore and i am done with this thread and good luck with the sale.
