that w7 probably sounds like a w3 because your amp isnt strong enough. The bigger the woofer, the more amp it takes to push it. I would get a 3000 watt amp at least. I tryed to push my alpine type rs with a 1000 watt ap before and it didn't even flex them. But i would give your system like a 6 out of 10 or something. Infinity is good for its price and the w7 will kick *** if you got the right amp. NOT BAD IMO. I wish i could afford a w7.

Are you serious? You're recommending 3000W AT LEAST?? Wow....

W7 = 1000/1 v2 plain and simple but the 1000/1 at i thin 16 volts put nearly 3k watts out its a beast of an amp. but at normal 14 its about 1200 which is perfect for an efficient power supply for the W7

The JL 1000/1 is all you will need to push that W7 efficiently! Clean up your front and rears and you'll be a happy camper, although I am sure you already are.

my bad. I thought the w7 was rated at 1500 rms. Its only 1000 rms. Ok, you are right. A 1000v2 jl amp will do just fine.

im wrong. It will power it. I just realized it. The jl amps are rated in rms. So the 1000 watt jl amp will power it well.

op. Not bad for a first. Probably better than a lot of people's first. You'll be happy. Just upgrade the front speakers and a little bit larger amp for that w7. Don't listen to the dipshit above. You don't need anywere close to 3kW to push that w7. Good luck to you and ask questions as you go along.

So with this amplifier, all you have to do is increase its input voltage 15%, and its output will increase 150%? Amazing.
I've always said that JL Audio uses stolen alien technology from Roswell. I know the W7 utilizes some of it as well.
