W7 = 1000/1 v2 plain and simple but the 1000/1 at i thin 16 volts put nearly 3k watts out its a beast of an amp. but at normal 14 its about 1200 which is perfect for an efficient power supply for the W7

OP - The system isnt bad at all - but as stated you need to work on the speakers

Bump your front coaxials and get a component set. There are tons of cheaper ones, or there are nicer ones. I think you said 200 bucks? I'm sure there is a real nice set running around for that price.

If it were me, I'd just pick up a set of JL Xr's and toss them in there, since you're mainly JL

I'd say sell the 500/1. Give the w7 750 rms.

i think thats a great system for a first, i wouldn't change anything. Install everything you have and see how you like it, chances are you will upgrade anyways. I wouldn't change a thing for a first system. Hope you enjoy and bump responsibly
