hey im somewhat new to the whole sound system in depth thing but, can i mount this w7 unsidedown in a special box or anything? does that make a difference in sound or proformance? i know thatll trake the ghettoness away from its face... make sure you check out its pictures above...

You have to make a baffle, then secure the sub to the baffle, then secure the baffle to the enclosure

well if you look at the sub, its pretty clear that dust cannot get into the coil... its not really a dustcap like REs subs.

looks im just going to invert the sub........ thanks guys, i will ask my local guys in the best buy bay to do it, they always work on the side......... and to settle the dust cover controversy, ill ask jl tomarrow on the phone, they seem to know everything.....imagine that one..... c-ya josh

so many shops dont know how to ship a sub,this week I got an interesting one

my sledgehammer at 96 lbs arrived with the sub purposly inserted into chamber of thwe enclusure but not mounted and just sorta hanging in there surrounded by popcorn

I see the thinking now,and although it was a little messy it arrived safe and sound

seriosly heavy subs need to be double boxed and 100% surrounded by popcorn if to survive UPS and Fedex who toss boxes around with no care at all
