Fed-Ex Damage on my amp...

Like I said in the deleted thread, I don't see how that kind of damage can be done if the packaging was solid. I see more "Shipping company messed up my blank" threads than anywhere else. Everything I have ever received from a company (like AQ, Madisound, Woofers etc, dude that sold me the Funky Pup) has made it to me in one piece. The Funky Pup box didn't even have dents in it.
So if you swear by the packaging, it was either broken before it was packaged or you broke it. Just how I see it. Hope you get that resolved.
So your saying the OP is a lier or and Idiot? Or could it possibly be that the package got blunt blows that damaged the amp inside, with out showing signs of damage on the outside?

Even if the packaging looks good on the outside doesn't mean it didn't take some hard falls or had alot of pressure on certain parts of the box during shipment.

Not taking any sides here but shipping companies can do some pretty amazing things when it comes to damage. Thats what insurance is for, if it was packaged good all the better when it comes to the claim.

Not calling anybody anything.

Just ask yourself how that is possible. How can something that was properly packaged get damaged? How can just the rca outputs get messed up? wouldn't the amp have some other kind of dents or something? Wouldn't that kind of force cause some visible damage to both the box and amp?

Not necessarily, especially if the amp was able to shift inside the packaging. Unfortunately every amp I've purchased, in manufacturers' original packaging, has had enough room for the amp to move around inside the box a little.

typically you would think not, but shit happens;)

I feel like Rudy in a deadener thread (No offense Rudy)

Pack the shit like you care or it's yours.

Also pack it so it can survive a 6-8 foot drop. It's just fuking amazing how UPS and other shipping companies just beats the living shit out of everyone's boxes here, yet m mom can buy sewing machines, plates and all kinds of shit off ebay and it makes it there in one piece. I have shipped 3 amps, a HU, and some other stuff on here and none of my refs have gone through any of this with me.

If the amp can move around, it is improperly packaged. If you ever received an AQ amp in the mail, I pack better than that and they pack really good.

I have shipped probably closed to 100 items with no issues whatsoever as well. Now that we have both said that though our luck is probably up and the shipping companies will break something of ours //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

You can only do so much in packaging, thats what insurance is there for...when the shipping company fucks your unfuckable packaging job //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

My aq2200 was one of the amps that could definately move in the packaging....not fond of square chunks of hard styrofoam instead of peanuts as packaging either...

For what it's worth though, that amp was triple boxed but I would have thrown some bubble wrap in there just to feel safe.

But back to the topic of the OP. Have you been contacted by the seller yet?
