the mounting harness? or bracket? lol jk... yeah some of those plastic brackets are thick... so i just use a heat gun for a few seconds and put the screw in... the plastic will just melt a lil and the screw goes right in... i've seen long screws damage radios many times so i'm careful lol... at least you got the new one workin

DON'T EVER BUY ANYTHING FROM BEST BUY!!!! They repackage stuff and sell as new even if it is not working... they don't check the stuff out.. Check out the Ohio Atty Generals site. There is a huge lawsuit pending against Best Buy for reselling items as new that are not and selling bootleg CD's and DVDs and originals.
They did the same thing to me on a microwave... took it to the authorized repair center and the guy said.." This is not a new microwave. Someone has been in this, everything is broken." BB has been giving me the run around for 3 months as all I want is a replacement for the POS they sold me. I may be biased but I will never shop there again...

Sorry you had a bad experience with BB. Can't say that i really have. But then again never bought any car audio stuff from them. Just a digi camera.
