ok well the 9845 I installed last night worked fine during the tests last night to see if connections were right..just came over a minute ago to hear it and set it up...turned on cd went in and nasty *** chopping noise then bam... " NO DISC" read across the faceplate...

WTH HAPPENED?!?! cd worked fine last night..and do I have to take out the HU and take apart the actual reciever to get my cd back out?

If you have a warranty, I'd send it in, if you open it up the warranty will be void.

lol get this..ok well the mounting screws went INTO the chassis intself like normal but actually MOVED the cd player portion buckling out the side of the chassis and screwing everything up..thats all thanks to my friends dad lol hes a behemoth..but we just took back and got another one

DON'T EVER BUY ANYTHING FROM BEST BUY!!!! They repackage stuff and sell as new even if it is not working... they don't check the stuff out.. Check out the Ohio Atty Generals site. There is a huge lawsuit pending against Best Buy for reselling items as new that are not and selling bootleg CD's and DVDs and originals.

They did the same thing to me on a microwave... took it to the authorized repair center and the guy said.." This is not a new microwave. Someone has been in this, everything is broken." BB has been giving me the run around for 3 months as all I want is a replacement for the POS they sold me. I may be biased but I will never shop there again...

a guy yesterday while I was in line with my friend was wanting to return an OPEN cd..he said he hadnt listened to it or anything..he got the wrong cd is what he told the manager..yeah bs..like he didnt go home and burn 1000's of copies to sell on eBayor just to people..o btw he bought it last wk

didnt take the guys cd back they said we cant and he said "thats fu(ked up!" and ran out all poed...they took back our first 9845..no the mounting harness he had to use diff screws the ones with the Alpine werent long enuf lol my friends dad just screwed one side in too far but now we have screws that actually work and the new 9845 works perfect //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/up2something.gif.dd110ecf3ae4b76050d87598f2f8de7c.gif
