the old skool hifonics cheater amps are what gets my vote - 50W rated pushing 400W or 150W rated pushing 1200W is the shit

really man i ran my old samson xi at 1ohm bridged and it never shut off and it made my arc 12's flex the roof on my bmw

Favorite is probably the old Mmats D series we used to run.

i love those, they shoulda kept building them like that my d300hc(moded) is stronger than my d2100.2

I have a old Punch 250.1 Power amp that my buddy used which was a killer on 2 15's. Haven't heard any thing like it since. It was a amp rated at 500 watts x 1 @ 2 ohms @ 12.volts but God was that amp underrated.
