All this talk about old school soundstream references makes me so upset. I recently f---ed mine up somehow. I've never liked Alpine until the PDX line came out.

Any pre-DEI PPI and Orion, original RF, old school Alpine, Carver, H/K, JL. But I wouldn't take any of them over my Linear Power amps.

I had a cool old school 6 channel A/d/s with all the crossover pins. What a pain in the ***, but cool idea.

I loved my old Phoenix Gold MS 275 I think it was rated like 75x2 and it hammmmered

I like the idea of having one amp for the whole system I ran a PPI Art Pro Mos 450 with 2x6.5" components 4" mid 2 rear 6.5" and 4 12s back in my 1994 Grand Am in 1994 and that system sounded sweet! Although those ol MB Quarts were piercing.

I wish there was a nice and not so expensive 5 channel that could put down that old school power at a reasonable price.
