favorite big boy toys

Well I read that new R1 does high 8s to low 9's stock.
Isn't it faster than the Busa this year? Or is it too close that it is just the rider?

High to mid-high 9's at best. Maybe lowered, with some mods, wheelie bar, slick, and a tooth dropped up front it'd do 8's.

All the new litre and larger bikes are going to be so close it will come down to the rider.

Quicker, as in stoplight to stoplight.

Does the new CBR1000 holdup at all?

And is the ZX-10 as quick as the Busa and R1?

Rider, tires, time of day, price of tea in china.........too many variables.........

All will run high 9's on a good day.

Stoplight to stoplight, i wouldn't want an R1. Its geared too tall in 1st. 100mph in 1st gear has its drawbacks.

 
BTW, here's my bike. An '88 Yamaha Vmax with cobra pipes, K&N air filter and jet kit.

i love my 93' S-10.... its got a 327 SB bored 30 over (AWESOME TORQUE) with a "oversized" comp cam, Dual holley 650 carbs, Roller rockers, Brodix aluminum heads, Hooker Headers, MSD ignition and i think thats about it, but i am pushing right at 450 HP and running 411 gears and a turbo 400 ****** and i am running 10.34 slips right now...

that is really cool xchasecx but i bet u couldnt beat my uncles 73 camaro, it has a4 bolt main 396 big block with magnaflow headers popup pistons 12:1 compression (oh ye) a single holley 750 double pumper and a 4 speed muncie ******, it has a mallory magneto ignition and it is all street legal lol it runs in the mid to high 7s in a quater mile

also u can run in the mid 10s with all that but if i was u i would put a 3:50 gear in it to get more top end speed thus better times (duh) but that s10 does sound like a good setup

X2, my motor in my old 83 Z28 was around 420-430hp and it had a holley 750 that i thought might of been to much carb for it. comp mag 280h cam, kb 10.2.1 pistions, performer rpm intake, 750 holley, ported stock heads,

 
For the RC guys I have a HPI Nitro Mt with aftermarket 2 speed and a HPI 18ss motor in it. It puts out 1.5 hp and and will do 40,000 rpm. I have alot of other parts on it like heavy duty gears, heavy shocks, lightwieght flywheel, big filter and bunch of other stuff. Sucker is fast but I dont know how fast. The motor I have in it has puts alot of wear on the parts.

I would say my favorite Big Boy toys would be my AK-47 with 75 round drums and my 2 XD's. Nothing better then blasting away alot of ammo especially with drum mags

get a zx-10, it's faster.

and i think that the zx-10 and r-1 are faster than the busa in acceleration, because of gear ratios and more power / revs. but the busa will be faster top end, especially if you crack the limiter.
