Edead is the best deadener for the price, if you want high quality deadener then Second Skin is my top pick. i would love to have Second skin, but maybe my next project, right now my RSX-S is set with edead.

How does your 'deadener' help with your precious flexing vids?

How does your comps sound with your sub overpowering them?

You really wanna go there, okay, we will go there. No deadener in the world will stop flexing when you have a decent loud system. Flex will be there no matter what, show me a car with the best deadener not flexing........it will be never. It will eliminate some but not all, how can i deaden a windshield wiper? Is that one example?

And what makes you think my sub overpowers my components? Oh wait your referring to my video right, which clearly sounds like that because uh.......ITS A VIDEO! Show me a video that will show the true sound of a system.........like my other point never!

First off, Im not using the word idiot. I am saying 'our' side has science to back up why asphlt based mats are inferior to butyl mats. Inferior on a scale that does not match its price comparison. So as rudy has pointed out many times, you are better off buying as much of the better butyl stuff as you can rather than opt for a greater amount of an asphalt based product.

When faced with reasoning that has science to show asphalt is inferior, rudy has given you one example to test for yourself the different (small pieces of metal with each type of mat on, tapped with hammer), and even the industry in general has moved away from the older and inferior asphalt mat and onto the newer and superior butyl products... with all this overwhelming evidence that asphalt is a poor choice in today's market, you still insist its a good buy becuse its still stuck to your car. You have no way of knowing how much better a butyl mat would work, you only have one frame of reference. I fail to understnd how you can conclude this makes for a viable platform from which to base your argument.

You've mass loaded your doors, which might've help with the rattling. As for dampening, one layer of butyl w/ the same thickness would've done more sound dampening. Why pay for more layers to do something, which might end up costing more, when you can just get the right stuff to start with. Wouldn't that be a waste of money, time and energy applying the extra layers? wasted time that could've been spent with your daughter? Fox, Rudy, audioholic are trying to help people save money time and energy.. those fucking assholes.
