anyone whos into car performance has heard the saying "theres no replacement for displacement" EXCEPT a power adder(turbo nitrous supercharger)
do you think the same could be applied for subwoofers?
what i mean by that is, if you had 1000watts to use and unlimited space, would you rather use a 15" subwoofer with 1000watts RMS rating... or 10 15" subwoofers with 100watts rms rating each?
this is an honest question im just curious to tell you the truth, but it theoretically it just seems like it would make sense if it was an equation where power was constant and the variable was cone area with the solution being output, than cone area and output would be directly porpotional.
