hah. reminds me of when i was going to buy a 1998 GMC jimmy. someone basicly said the same thing to me. told me they are great SUV's, if you love to work on cars. i hear they break down alot

Thats the **** truth. My best friend had a 95 Jag. That thing was constantly having problems. One thing would get fixed then 3 more problems would come up. He ended up buying another junk Jag to use for spare parts. Now they both sit in the back of his property lol. Also, realize with getting a jag, parts will be hell of a lot more expensive than most cars.

I had to put a new engine in my car @ 77K. I was not too happy. I dunno what's GRANDMA is complaining about, but my car is much more appealing than a Park Avenue. I didn't even start to comment on the Jag's mechanical reputation, all I commented on was the fact that it's downright UGLY. It's about as UGLY as a Park Avenue.

(IMO), yes it's UGLY. That shouldn't matter though, as YOU will be the one driving it.

I would tint it, drop it, throw some nice 18s or 20s on it and only drive it on weekends.

Those are nice cars, but I would investigate whether current owners are happy by looking up some Jag messageboards, then running a Carfax on the vin if you're still considering it.

i think if you need to come onto a car audio forum to ask about "what car should i buy" or "is this a decent price, should i get this car" then u have some issues and should just buy yourself a **** gremlin. end of thread. why do you care what we think about the car youll be buying. its for you, not us.
