factory wiring with components

hey i have my amp's speaker wires run out through my center console (from my trunk) and tapped into the factory harness of my acura. i then added some more stinger 14 ga. speaker wire to the other side of the harness (the door speaker wires) to run my components. does tapping into the factory harness afftect the output/performance of the drivers i have (infinity Perfect 6.1)?? i think the factory wires on the harness for an acura integra is 18-21 gauge?

depends on how many watts you are throwing at the comps, but if its 18 gauge it should be fine.
