Factory Speaker Wires

OK, I've looked at the rubber boot in my door and it looks like the wires that exit the door end up into some type of plug in connector, so fishing new speaker wires thru it probably isn't an option.

Can the factory speaker wires (06 Ford F150) handle 200 watts per side feeding my BA comps? The wires on the crossovers don't appear to be that big of a gauge and they are good for the power I am told.

Will it work?

My car was the same way. I just cut a small hole in the flange of the plug, ran the wire through that and then through the door jamb boot. You can't tell that anything has been done and I was able to use 14ga speaker wire.

I wouldn't put 200 watts through a 20 gauge wire for a probably 8ft run
