factory speaker wire

i'm going to be installing my system this weekend and i was thinking why buy speaker wire if i could just use the speaker wire from the factory speakers instead of running new wire.
couldn't i do that?
depends. Higher gauge wire will usually let you get more power to the speakers. And at certain levels of wattage, your gonna need bigger than (Im guessing 16 AWG) that probably comes factory. Also, people have said that the quality (thread count and oxygen level) of the wire makes an audible difference in component speakers, but not so much for bass. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

30mm, you never stated the kind of power you were going to run to the speakers. Don't use new wire until you've considered that.
