it will handle a 3k but you have to use your head on the gains i had a 3ft^3 box this sub is as loaded as you can get them

what's the lowest that you will take for the nightshade and whats is the rms/peak, ? looking for a nightshade or dd 9515g.

the nightshade is a 1500 WATT RMS driver no matter how you build it but it will handle more than that with added cooling and more spiders longer coil so will it handle 3000 watts yes but you need to properly adjust the gains and not be retarded with the vol. knob i have seen ALOT more on one for burps but NOT recommended i hope i answered your question and make me an offer
