why don't you just get a bass gain controller knob. It will work a lot better rather then distort everything

I believe that's the purpose of the JL Bass Knob. If not let me know...and bump to the top. I know someone's got one or two....and could tell me if I could split one to two with a y-splitter since it's simply a telephone cord that connects the knob to the amp.

Sorry about your loss, and PM'ed on the knob. Bump since I still don't have one and probably need two... calling JL now to find out if I can split on the two amps.

Money sent on the knob. Also, in case someone else ever has the same question. I called JL and they recommended setting up the two 1000's in a master slave config and only using one knob for both. Worked beautifully! Thanks for all the input from all.
