What we have here is a new, never installed JBL / Crown A6000GTI Mono-Block Amp.. with 1 YEAR MFG Warranty - This thing is BEAST...I tell you!....

Here's the deal.. Buddy of mine in town that owns audio/video shop just got back from a JBL vendor meet/conference/exposition... and he won the grand door prize... but he doesnt fool with this stuff. So he has asked me to poke around on the various sites/forums he knows I am intimate with and see what we cant work out. NOW he is a JBL dealer (but not I), He has CONFIRMED WITH HIS JBL REP THAT JBL WILL STAND BEHIND THIS AMP 100% (i.e. 1 Year Parts/Labor warranty comes with it!!!) everything is "business as usual" even though it was a door prize...

Warranty begins from day that the amp is purchased. Buyer will receive a sales slip from the Sound Shop "Audio Design" along with the amp when shipped.

After doing some research.. on-line you can find between 3500.00 - 4500.00 on up..

used I have seen them for as little as 2K, The ONLY place I could find that would still offer warranty with it, was asking $4,000.00 + ship.

ASKING PRICE for this NIB (new in box display) JBL / CROWN A6000GTi w/ Warranty 3000.00 + Actual FREIGHT (too big for UPS).. OBRO.

surpirising yes!!!... fishy though, not really! As, the reason they are giving them away as door prizes is because of the retail price. There are several offshore amp company's with bigger amps for less money, take for example the Stetson 7.5 KW ( 23,000 at 1 ohm) which a friend of a friend of mine picked up one for $1100.00 NIB (plus ship) and came with warranty... so really all it is, is that reality has slapped us a lil, in the sense that just within the last week one was on ebay recently and bidding didnt get up over $1,000, other guy had one for $2,000- up for 10 days no bids.. so that leaves us in the middle of the road $1,500.00... it will be on the Bay later today (wednesday afternoon/evening).

I will post that info once it is oficially listed... for folks to reference the listing and if they prefer to go thru ebay... have alook at my history on the bay 387 @ 100% I've sold amps for hundreds of dollars and airplanes for 25K, cars, etc... as a part time business. "Consignment listing" / kinda like a tading assistant ... (user name (think i mentioned this in the inital post) but user name southerngreenmtn, power seller status, etc..., (http://myworld.ebay.com/southerngreenmtn) bidding starts at 1500.00, dont know what else to say... I own my own business here in Brattleboro http://www.savelocal.net (advertising business), and the owner of the amp (a friend of mine) and JBL Retailer in town, has no need for it, and no one around these parts (southern VT) has any interest in gear of this caliber/nature... folks round here are sturgglin' to get gas in their rig, never mind 8000 WATTS of juice, shit they need to hope they can afford one battery neva mind 4 or 5 of them w/ HO aly and all that.. I am kinda the exception to this around these parts as I am not originally from these parts... but it truly is a different kind of world up here in Vermont... skiing and farmers....

Hey Bumpin' Buick.. didnt even realize that was you as your avatar has changed.. you may recall I picked up a Stinger SPV1170 or whatever off of you sometime ago... geese I think that was you anyways...if so.. I love it, it fit great, lights still dim on some spikes... but not very often... but with having done the big 3, HO alt, Setting gains, HO Battery, etc... Running 14.1 @ idle is just what I like to see, and and gets 14.4 when driving along.. love it... the battery may not be the entire reason for the good/constant current... but I'm certain it plays a major role... Thanks mang!

Yeah that was me, I thought your name sounded familiar. Glad you enjoy the batts I was selling them for a steal just like your selling this amp for a steal. it sure would be a beast to have this.... you'll need lock washers on everything in the rig...hehe LOL.... but would be able to do hair tricks, hat tricks... who knows you might have to quit smoking as the lighter wont stay lit??!!?!?!
