F.Y.I.- i did not repair this amp...i bought it working...

this is a rare farenheit class x clx 260-2 .. it is a little power house , ready to run a single sub, or run active on some component speakers...its very very efficient..better than a class d...

it has all the features you need to run it for sub duty or full range, or for your tweets...its very small to. only 1 1/2 inches tall

rating it from 1 to 10 , it is a 8 for cosmetic reasons. it has a few scuffs on the plexi cover...nothing serious.. i give it a 10 for function..it works 100%..i benched it for a few hours the other day...it sounds and works great...

specs:

* 2 X 60 RMS 4Ohm/2 X 95 2 Ohm Stereo

* 1 X 190 RMS 4 Ohm Mono / 380 Max Power

* Variable Low and High Pass Electronic Crossover 12 dB/Octave

* Subsonic Filter 27Hz

* Variable Bass Boost 45 Hz 0-18 dB

* Signal to Noise Ratio 98 dB

* Frequency Response 10Hz-30 KHz

* Total Harmonic Distortion .02%

* Dimensions: 8.25”L x 10” W x 1.2”H

What is a Class "X" Amplifier? A Class "X" Amplifier is a Class"D" Amplifier with a digitally controlled power supply. It is this highly sophisticated power supply that gives Class "X" an edge in overall efficiency of 10% more when compared to Class "D" Amplifiers

my clx260.2 amp i have goes with those specs, but that picture is wrong on that website... did you notice that the first pic looks just like the second one?

edit:

the amp in the pic is a CLX520-4 4 channel ..

fahrenheit=epsilon fyi.
fixed....

so? what does that have to do with anything? are you trying to say this amp is like a pyramid/poweracoustics cheap made crap?

did they belong to epsilon when this amp was made? around 10 or more years ago? i dont know, do you? most companies are bought up by the big boys after they get their names out, and build good products like precision power, who now belongs to epsilon...lol...

i have never seen a poweracoustic built like these amps....they are original looking, not cookie cutter boards put in different heatsinks... the bigger amps they made are built like tanks..they are not cheap at all..

Sounds like he is just letting people know what you can expect from the amp. He's not dumping on your thread
Actually that statement would be wrong, cause those were some pretty sweet little amps. Made plently of clean power and performed flawlessly, I've built several setups for customers using those amps and never had a single one fail or a single complaint from any customer, some of whom is still using them 10yrs later. So don't judge a book by it's cover or based on what you think you know. If you haven't used it then don't speak on it.

Good luck with your sale, great little inexpensive amp here people.......//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif:D:D
