I have had this sub for just over a month and it has very low hours on it. My car was in the shop for awhile with several issues and I was without bumps for a few weeks. The sub is in phenominal condition and is 10/10 all around! It is flawless and was never clipped. Run off a Digital Designs M1a, the Gains were adjusted properly and has never been abused. It was in a kerfed ported enclosure 3.5cubes @ 38Hz, and absolutely pounded without loosing its sense of quality. Reason I'm selling is because I have had my eye on the 12HDC3 and AQ1200D, so this and my DD M1a are both up forsale.

Noob question probably, cause I don't know much about DD besides them being a popular brand with a lot of folks. Would this work well in a sealed enclosure? I a 1.5 sealed box and need a d2 sub. Also is this more a SPL sub or SQ? Sorry, just never really looked them up.

hey no problem man. I am not too familiar with sealed boxes with DD's inside. I know ddaudio.com recommends them in a ported enclosure 2.5 - 3.0 cubes @ 40Hz. Although, for this one I did 3.5 @ 38hz. Some would say this is a bit overkill. DD is definitly a SPL sub, not don't doubt the SQ on this. Mine sounded phenominal tuned to 38Hz.

Ok, well free bump for a good price then. I need something to stay around my size box I have, might be able to go up to 2cft, as I need room for baby stuff, lol!
