This amp is not for daily applications therefore I am selling it.

Had it hooked up for one hour wired to 2 ohms nominal off my mayhem d1. Voltage was never below 14v and I know I have good enough electrical.

No fets have been blown I was told that the output drivers are shot, amp goes into protect when powered on.

I'm letting this go for 400 shipped or trade straight up for a saz2000d

It was previously repaired by me for blown power input traces right after both positive terminals. I jumped over the traces with 2.6mm thick copper bar. Really a beefy looking repair that I would be proud of fashioning. I performed durability testing on site with a one ohm resistive load bank for twenty minutes without failure. I suspect the output driver is blown, the amp is notorious for this and it fits the description of symptoms. Still a hell of an amp.

Good luck with sale man. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Hey bro this is oldschool from smd I live in dallas and could bring you the money today and it sure would be pretty next to the 1 I already have.

I had one of my old 5k's that just went into protect every time I turned it on. My local tech has been doing alot of zennon repairs and found the issue to be in the lil board that holds the protection circuitry.

Fixed that it worked fine after.

Just a lil info Good luck with sale! 300 is a steal knowing it could be a 100 dollar fix //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

It may be the case. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif I'll find out soon...

That little board is also the output driver board by the way.

Back from the dead....

Would anyone happen to know how much it would cost me to get my hands on one of them "little boards"? Looks like someone previously tried to only replace the driver chip o my AT-7000 and did a crappy job. The chip is now destroyed and 6 output FET's too.

Looks like I should be able to get a whole complete board with drivers and all... anyone have any info as to where I can get one?

Thanks in advance...
